Meet the team

Mary joined Barn Park in 1998 as a night career with no qualifications apart from an ability to empathise with older people and an amazing capacity for hard work.  Since then she has worked her way up to her present position, our Care Manager with both NVQ level 4 and RMA level 4, together with numerous other qualifications.  Mary says, “I love my job, the team I work with, it has been a great pleasure and privilage in assisting over the years.  Apart from having my children, this has been the best and most satisfying outcome I could ever have hoped for. I hope to be able to stay here at Barn Park for many more years as it is such a lovely home, with the greatest feeling of being a real home from home."

Veronica - Night Care Assistant
Since joining us in 2008, Veronica has achieved her NVQ level 2.

Serena - Senior Care Assistant
Serena joined our team in 2004. Since working for us, Serena has completed NVQ levels 2 and 3.

Alice first came to us in 2007, helping to prepare teas. After going off to college to study, she has re-joined Barn Park last year as one of the care team. She has gained her NVQ level 2 and She is currently working towards her NVQ 3.

Mandy - Cook
Mandy is our cook and has been part of the team since 2001.

Christine - Housekeeper
Christine came to us in 2008 and does a sterling job keeping our home clean and attractive.
